Enhancing Governance and Innovation capacities for the regeneration of the Higher Education System
The scope of project TNE23-00047 “ENhancing Governance and INnovation capacities for the higher Education System regeneration – ENGINES,” which involves 10 Italian universities, is the African continent, with special reference to countries in the sub-Saharan region, the Mediterranean, and the Middle East due to their deep interconnections, links, and exchanges with Italy and among themselves.
The Italian universities partnering in the ENGINES project aim to promote the Italian model in these countries through an increased mobility of students and staff.
With the ENGINES project, the University of Molise aims to strengthen existing relationships with African partners through the mobility of students and staff, both outgoing and incoming.
Through the ENGINES project, the University of Molise, focusing on the themes of cultural heritage, archaeology, history, agro-food, and cultural landscape, will take partnerships with the Ethiopian universities of Jimma and Debre Markos, the Tunisian universities of Monastir and Gabes, and the Senegalese university of Check Anta Diop to the next level, towards the establishment of joint research and teaching programs, such as the establishment of double and joint degrees.
